Mick Dominates in Round One

Mick has blitzed his rivals in the first round of the Quiksilver Pro at Snapper Rocks today with a combined heat score of 17.36 out of possible 20 points. Mick collected his total with a 9.03 and an 8.33.
“I felt comfortable and relaxed out there, this is my homebreak and home crowd so I love competing here.” Said Mick after his win. “It’s a going to be a big event with some exciting rookies joining the ranks. I’m pumped to get through my first heat and look forward to surfing against some of them in this event.”
