No Haleiwa for me

How good is home? Got back a week or so ago. I got straight home into a friends bachelor party then a wedding then this whirl wind book tour for Surf for your life. Did about 35 interviews over three days. After that I got to hang home for a couple of weeks train and get ready for Hawaii, which I’m really pumped about. I didn’t do the first event of the Triple Crown, the Reef Hawaiian Pro. It was a hard decision because Haleiwa is one of my favourite waves and Reef is sponsoring the event. I would have loved to have been there but with all the stuff I had on when I got home I didn’t feel like I would have given it 100%, so I decided to stay home to get the body and mind straightened out. Reef were really cool about it. Anyway, I will be competing at Sunset and of course Pipe. Been scoring some fun waves at home. Here’s some shots by my buddy Simon Williams from a session yesterday.
