Portugal Pumps; Mick & Parko in Semis

The World Title race is getting extremely interesting with Mick and Joel Parkinson both progressing through to the the semi finals in some solid waves at the Rip Curl Pro Search in Portugal yesterday. A number of excellent scores were posted as the world’s best took on solid 6-8 foot Supertubos and the highlights from the day can be viewed on the event website in Heats On Demand. Mick defeated Fred Patacchia in the third round and then he beat Tim Reyes in the quarterfinals to earn his place in the semi final 2. Joel will take on Bede Durbidge in semi final 1.
