Ready for Portugal
Hey guys. A quick update for you. While this Euro leg of the tour has been a little long and wave-starved I’m right where I want to be coming into the last two events. Mundaka was tough and I would have loved a bigger result but I’ve moved on and now have the Rip Curl Pro Search event in Portugal in my focus. I split from the Basque Country straight after losing my round three heat at the Billabong Pro and drove straight for Portugal to get prepared. It’s a beautiful spot, great people and plenty of things to see like most of Europe. The set up for the event looks insane and with some solid swell predicted I think we’re gonna see some quality waves. My shaper DHD sent me a bunch of insane looking new boards during the event in France, there hasn’t been a whole lot of swell up until now so I’m psyching to put them to the test. Rip Curl have been orchestrating a massive live webcast from the event in Portugal where you will be able to watch all the action unfold. I’ll also be providing updates from the event on Twitter and from right here on my site so come back soon.

Showing off my new boards for an upcoming Surfline feature.

Good luck and hope the predictions are right and you guys get perfect waves.
