Since the Two Wave Scoring System has been introduced the Trestles event has been dominated by 10 surfers.
At the top of the list is Kelly Slater. Kelly has 3 wins, 2 runner-up finishes and a quarter-final result from his showings in the event during the two-wave scoring system.
Others with impressive stats are Taj, who has had two runner-up finishes and two 3rds in six starts.
Jeremy Flores has had 2 x 3rd in the last 2 years.
Mick Fanning has had 1 x 3rd and 3 x 5th in his five starts.
Bede Durbidge has posted a 1st and a 3rd from 4 starts in California.
Parko has a 1st and 2 x 5th in 5 starts but on his last two visits to Trestles he’s had a 33rd and a 9th.
C.J Hobgood has 3 x 5th in 5 starts.
Taylor Knox has posted at least one win every season with 1 x 3rd, 1 x 5th, 3 x 9th and a 17th in 6 years.
Heitor Alves had a 5th last season in his first start.
