Greetings from J-Bay. Not a lot of swell around today so the event’s been put on hold until 12pm local time. In the meantime check the tour section of the site for my lowdown on the event and my pick of Jbay players to watch. And why you’re here check out some stats my mate Mike Newman sent through this morning:
Over the past 6 seasons 2003 -2008 (the two wave era) 7 different countries have competed for the trophy on offer at J-Bay in South Africa… 99 surfers have taken part in these 6 events and just 4 surfers have won it with Kelly winning 3, Mick, Taj and Andy winning 1 each.
